Hilton/Diamond Resorts In August of 2021 Hilton Grand Vacations Club purchased Diamond Resorts and shortly after began rebranding that product as Hilton Vacation Club. Please dont be confused by the similar names, as Diamond Resorts still operates as a completely independent program under this new name and all owners of HVC/DRI are still for lack of a better term, Dimond Resorts owners. Hilton/Diamond Resorts there simply is no correlation between the HGVC program and the DRInowrenamedHVC program other than the VERY similar name! To make matters worse, Hilton created an add on program intended to allow owners of BOTH systems to access resorts within each of these system (at a cost of course) called HGVMAX. This program (for DRI owners) allows you access to HGVC resorts 6 months in advance (compared to 13 months for DRI/HVC resorts).
